Gerrit Zijlstra was born in 1957 in The Hague and grew up in the South-West. After his studies (HTS Business Administration) he held various materials management positions at IT companies.
In order to be able to do an MBA study, he decided in 1987 to (temporarily) start working as a self-employed person, helping companies with quality systems according to ISO 9000 standards.
RR Donnelly (later Modus Media) was one of his clients. Modus Media was an important supplier to the IT industry. Microsoft, HP, Cisco, IBM, Intel were among the customers for pan-European Supply Chain Management Solutions.
After leaving for Banta Turnkey solutions as General Manager, he was asked to set up a branch in Hungary for Modus Media. After 5 years in Hungary, he decided to make the acquired knowledge and experience available to small and medium-sized companies in the Netherlands.
The approach is accessible and transparent. No pompous stories, but realistic and close to everyday practice.
No bulky consultancy contracts, but step by step build up a basis of trust or, if necessary, roll up the sleeves immediately.
GGTH's mission is to help small and mid size businesses achieve their goals.
